Connecting a TI-89 plus to internet

When I was in high-school, I unfortunately was not part of the “TI Gang” : I just had a Casio graphing calculator taken from my sister. In prepa, I could finally buy a TI, and in a typical Johan fashion, I took what I thought was the best (because it was the bigger) : the TI 92 I mean, look at this beast :

Anyway, I was just wondering what my life would look like now if I had a TI 89 (and the time to tinkle with programs).

I know that a lot of my friends started their computer science hobby with that
Would I have the patience to learn this as well? Or maybe I would just push programs / games on it and call it a day?
